I am Stephen, a Doctor at Edith Cowan University, and my wife Regina is a Music teacher at the University of Western Australia. We have 2 daughters 6 years and 9 years of age.

Our brick and tile house is built on a 484 square metre block. We have a graden with bareque area, outside verandah's at the front and back. Our neighbours are very friendly and we have lived here form 17 years.

Our standard of living is good with modern facilities in our house, including TV and computer facilities. In 2009 Cottesloe was voted the most expensive suburb in Australia. There are many quality quality restaurants nearby and also excellent primary and secondary schools.

Between 1st of August and the 30th of November 2010 we will be in Europe and wish to exchange our house with an exchange partner who has aaccommodation that is minimum of two bedrooms and a reliable post 2005 built car if possible. Ideally we would like to exhange houses for a minimum of two weeks but would consider longer if the opportunity arose.

September/October/November is a very beautiful time in Australia as it is the springtime and wildflower season. Also we live only 200 metres from Cottesloe beach which is famous for its clean sand and water. I personally swim at Cottesloe all year round where the water will get to 18 degrees C in the middle of winter and range to 28 degrees in Summer. Many Australians swim all year round. If you prefer 26 degrees C all year there is a very clean heated public pool less that 250 metres away that is olpen all year round.

The cultural centre and coastal city of Fremantle is 10 minute s by car, 15 miutes by train or bus.

The beautiful Swan River is 10 minutes by car.

The resort of Rottnest Island is 30 minutes from Fremantle by the daily cruise ship.

There are many restaurants between the coast and the city in Subiaco, Claremont, Nedlands and Dalkeith,

The University of Western Australia is 10 minutes by car.

We live 1oo metres from bus travel and 200 metres from the metropolitan train

The famous wine growig region of Margaret River is 3 hours by car.

We would like to offer our Mazda 323 as part of the exchange package if we arwe able to do the same with our exchange partner in Europe.

The neighbours in our street are very friendly and many are global travellers also.

We like living on the coast and, although not mandatory, we would be attracted to an exchange partner who lives in the near vicinity of the coast or water.
